The FAC Volunteer Program is currently evolving to reach its full potential and, as part of that change, the Foundry Art Centre is implementing Volunteer Training Sessions to equip each of our volunteers all they need to succeed. Current volunteers and anyone who is interested in volunteering are invited to attend a session. Rebecca Beedy, our grant-writer, has designed a comprehensive volunteer guidebook from her extensive background in designing non-profit organizations’ volunteer programs; each participant will receive a guidebook and instruction.

There are three sessions available: one on Friday, October 14 from 1:30pm - 4:00pm, and two on Monday, October 17, 10:30am - 1:00pm and 1:30pm - 4:00pm.

Light refreshments will be served and training is free, but interested participants must register for the session they wish to attend. To register or for more information on the Foundry Art Centre Volunteer Program, call 636-255-0270 or email

Foundry Art Centre Volunteer Program

If you have an appreciation for art and are looking to serve your community, the Foundry Art Centre may be the right place for you.

The Foundry Art Centre has a strong tradition of support from volunteers of all ages. Currently, there are volunteers from all over the community working in nearly every area of the art center, providing services to visitors and assisting the professional staff behind the scenes. It is an ideal way to make new friends while getting to know the inner workings of one of the area’s premier art centers.
