Feeling creative? Several classes will be available at the Foundry Art Centre in the Community Classroom, taught by St. Charles Adult and Community Education. Art Carousel is a comprehensive program using visual arts, storytelling, music, and hands-on creation to reinforce learning and discovery through literature.
The program serves the general public, and provides specific opportunities for school groups, disadvantaged youth, and social service agencies to immerse children in the world of art and creativity in a nonthreatening inclusive environment. Fun Family Evening
featuring the Ugandan Orphans Choir

FREE and Open to the Public
Come out and experience the music and dance of Africa! This exciting family event will feature two performances from the Ugandan Orphans Choir encompassing authentic African tribal drumming, dancing and singing, as well as contemporary songs in English. Performances are at 6:00pm and 7:00pm.
Along with live entertainment, we will read our book of the month: Ananse & the Lizard by Pat Cummings. Several art projects based on the story will be also be available (suitable for children 12 & under). Story time will be at 6:30pm.
Cookies & lemonade will be available to all guests. Join in on this fun-filled evening the whole family will enjoy!
Gelli Plate Party is a two-part workshop in which Gelli Plate processes will be taught in Part 1 and then the art will be made into books and art journals in Part 2. These classes may also be taken individually.

Shooting Starz will take your child center stage in this beginning acting and art camp. This camp will keep kids moving and creating in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
