Fun Family Evening
featuring the Ugandan Orphans Choir

FREE and Open to the Public
Come out and experience the music and dance of Africa! This exciting family event will feature two performances from the Ugandan Orphans Choir encompassing authentic African tribal drumming, dancing and singing, as well as contemporary songs in English. Performances are at 6:00pm and 7:00pm.
Along with live entertainment, we will read our book of the month: Ananse & the Lizard by Pat Cummings. Several art projects based on the story will be also be available (suitable for children 12 & under). Story time will be at 6:30pm.
Cookies & lemonade will be available to all guests. Join in on this fun-filled evening the whole family will enjoy!
 Canvases & Cocktails
The Foundry Art Centre has evenings of fun that are great for a date night, girls night, or just a friends night out! Canvases & Cocktails is a guided art-making experience. The instructor will guide you step by step through the evening's project. Just show up ready to laugh, talk, and have fun! Bring your favorite bottle of wine or drink; water & soda will be available for purchase.

Curious about the Gelli Plate craze? Learn the amazing properties of the Gelli Plate printmaking process. In Part 1, create stunning textures and patterns on a mixture of papers. Luscious layers created with acrylic paint and stencils can easily stand alone or become the base for future artwork. In Part 2, your finished pages will be suitable for binding into art journals, scrapbooking, collage, artist trading cards, greeting cards and more!
