Parents and kids will both enjoy making art alongside one another at Free Family Fun Day! On Saturday, May 27 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm, families will explore the Foundry Art Centre’s number-centric exhibition, “The Nth Degree”, and create projects inspired by geometry, mathematics, and repetition. Activities will include a tessellation station where kids will make artistic patterns with geometric shapes, the Japanese art of origami, and a paper airplane contest! This event is free and open to the public as part of the Foundry Art Centre’s mission is to provide free educational activities for children in the community.
While you’re enjoying the activities, take advantage of the fantastic discounts on our Summer Camps that will be available exclusively at Free Family Fun Day! This summer, Foundry Art Centre campers will be traveling the globe by making artwork and learning about the cultures of countries all around the world. Gather up the family and head to the FAC on Saturday, May 27!
