Foundry Studio Artists – 
•    Jody Williams - Studios 2 & 3
-    Jody Williams is on the Steering Committee of America's Flora, the United States' component of Botanical Art Worldwide, a 19-country collaborative initiative of botanical art exhibitions illustrating the diversity of plant life around the world to take place in the spring of 2018 including a Worldwide Day of Botanical Art on May 18, 2018. The U.S. exhibition is being curated by the American Society of Botanical Artists and will open at the U.S. Botanic Garden in Washington D.C. Information about the worldwide effort can be seen at http://www.botanicalartworldwide.info/ 
-    Jody also had three watercolor paintings accepted into the Living Color exhibition at Soulard Gallery in St. Louis. One piece sold at the opening reception April 14th. The show runs through May 19, 2017. 

•    Natalie Rupp - Studio 5
-     Natalie was invited to exhibit artwork with the FAC Studio Artists and Friends, in the Friends of the Foundry Invitational Exhibition, on display from April 28th through June 9th. 
-    Her work will also be featured on the north wall of the Gift Shop for the month of May, and the Foundry's front entry wall for the duration of the exhibition "Tell Me A Story". She is planning her next series, while finishing up several pieces for upcoming shows.  
-    Natalie is teaching Classes and Private Lessons year-round! Spots are still available for this summer! To register for art classes-- Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and College Prep, contact her in Studio 5 for more details!
-    She is also leading workshops, and recently hosted a drawing workshop for a troop field trip. The young artists experimented with different drawing materials, learned about shading and perspective, used their imagination like a graphic artist, and created beautiful masterpieces to share with others.

•    Chris Sharp - Studio 6
-    Chris Sharp is currently working on two new books for Creative Communications for the Parish, which should be out late this year. As well as starting production of his first self published book titled "The Tooth Fairy's Loose Tooth" There is hope to produce more children’s prints in the upcoming months.

•    Lisa Hinrichs – Studio 9
-    Lisa Hinrichs is offering a three workshop series this spring and summer. The first is May 13th and is "The Felted Landscape"  The second is "A Colorful Vessel" and the third, July 8th is "The Felted Abstract"
-    Her piece "Silver Lining" will be included in the exhibit in Gallery III in conjunction with the Gala.

•    Dave Coleman - Studio 10
-    Dave had his piece titled “Empty Spaces, Lonely Places” accepted to the “Wide Open” Exhibition sponsored by the Brooklyn Waterfront Artist Coalition in Brooklyn, New York.  The exhibition is from May 13th – June 18th.  

•    Ann Croghan – Studios 15 & 16
-    Ann is going to have one person exhibiting at the Florissant Valley Community College starting July 10 to October 6, 2017. There will be a Gallery talk and reception to be announced at a later date.

•    Spring Hansen - Studio 18
-    She is coordinating workshop collaborations as well as applying for shows nationwide.
-    Plans are to travel to NY and meet with galleries and licensing agents in May.
-    Spring was invited to exhibit artwork with the FAC Studio Artists and Friends, in the Friends of the Foundry Invitational Exhibition, on display from April 28th through June 9th. 
-    She is still looking for sponsorship for her "Project Boy" and "Existence" series. Contact her for inquiries and more information – springrenee@gmail.com or better yet, stop by her studio and chat with her.
-    Her “Full of Intention” workshop sign ups are going on now for summer and fall! 
-    She is continuing to explore other artist opportunities nationwide and diversifying within her medium.

•    Jie Chen & Ting He – Studios 19
-    Jie and Ting are participating in the Chinese Festival at the Missouri Botanical Gardens for their 15th year this weekend April 22nd through the 23rd. If you are available go see them and the other artists.

•    Sue Giannotti  - Studio 20
-    Recently completed and installed a major architectural liturgical commission consisting of 7 floor mosaics as well as an altar centerpiece mosaic for a beautiful church in northern Indiana.  Commissions (residential, commercial, and liturgical) are welcomed. 
-    Teaching at the May 2017 convention of the Society of American Mosaic Artists (Detroit, Michigan) and translating for Maestro Verdiano Marzi at his presentation there.
-    Beginning a new series of mosaic sketches, “Views from the Window”, based on her new surroundings and space in Studio 20 at the Foundry.
