I have artwork I’d like to sell or learn the value of. How do I have my artwork appraised?
Foundry Art Centre staff is prohibited from appraising or authenticating works of art. Appraisals and authentication should be carried out by a certified appraiser or a reputable auction house.

You may wish to find an appraiser to determine the value of your artwork. Appraisers are trained specialists who work for a fee. They evaluate your piece and give you a written statement of its value.

Please refer to one of the following organizations to seek an appraiser for your work:
American Society of Appraisers: appraisers.org
Appraisers Association of America: appraisersassociaton.org
International Society of Appraisers: isa-appraisers.org

If you’re interested in researching on your own, the St. Louis Art Museum’s Richardson Memorial Library has many resources to get you started: slam.org/education/library
Please do not bring in artwork for review.

How do I have an exhibition at the Foundry?
We welcome submissions for consideration. To have your work considered for an exhibition, please email a bio, CV, artist statement, and website link or Dropbox folder with images to jmannisi@foundryartcentre.org. Please note that exhibitions are typically scheduled 1-2 years in advance. Also, keep an eye on our upcoming exhibitions page for upcoming juried show opportunities.

Please do not bring in artwork for review, as we do not accept walk-in submissions.

I would like to donate art to the Foundry.
Though the Foundry is not a collecting institution, we may consider an artwork donation for upcoming programming and/or fundraising events. If you are interested in donating a work of art, it is advised that you contact our director Hilda Andres at handres@foundryartcentre.org.

Please do not bring in artwork, as we do not accept walk-in donations.

I’m looking for studio space. What is the process for having a studio at the Foundry?
Artists have a renewable, yearly lease at the Foundry. When a studio becomes available, a juried application process takes place for artists to apply and be accepted. Keep an eye on our website and social media for studio vacancy announcements.

How do I volunteer?
