Q. What is this Trivia Night for?

A. Trivia Night is the Foundry Art Centre's Fundraiser for 2018. All funds raised help support the Foundry Art Centre's programming and ensuring that our facility stays free & open to the public.

Q. This is my first time attending a trivia night. What are some need to knows?

A. You are in for fun-filled evening. Aside from your wits and brushing up on your pop-culture, all you will really need to bring is yourself! To ensure you don't miss out on any of the fun, it is advisable to bring cash with you in order to play our in-round games and to purchase mulligans

Q. What kinds of games/raffles will be taking place during Trivia Night? How do I play?

A. The Foundry Art Centre Trivia Night will feature a Raffle, Balloon Pop, Art Raffle,  50/50, and Heads or Tails. 

  • The Balloon pop cost $10 to play, or $10 per balloon. Each balloon will have a number inside it, which will correspond with a specified gift card. No matter where the gift card is to, each gift card will have a value of $10 or higher.
  • 50/50 costs $2 to play. After paying, you will receive a number from one of our runners. The money from each participant will be put into one pot. After which, a drawing will take place, selecting the winner of the 50/50. That winner will then receive half of the total pot, the other half going towards the Foundry Art Centre.
  • Raffle tickets will be for sale for $1, 6 for $5, or 12 for $10. Buy yours for a chance to win a number of different prizes displayed that evening.
  • Art Raffle tickets will be for sale for $2. Each Art Raffle ticket entered gives you a chance to win a one-of-a-kind, handmade piece of artwork. Each piece of art is donated by a professional artist and friend of the Foundry.

Q. Can I bring my own food and drinks?

A. We welcome our guest to bring their own food and beverages. We ask only that no outside alcohol is brought with you. We will also have complimentary beer, wine, and soda available as well as free popcorn!

  • For a $5 suggested donation, you can also pick out your very own Foundry tumbler to save you extra refill trips to the bar.
